The second I met Jennie I knew I wanted to work with her. Maybe it was the fact that we both have freckles, maybe it was her big smile or her fun personality. Whatever it was, I knew I wanted to photograph her wedding! Then I met Chad and he just sealed the deal. What a great guy! Chad and Jennie are two of the most easy going, fun, and relaxed people I have had the pleasure of working with. It’s couples like them that allow me to have such an enjoyable job!
I had been looking forward to their wedding for a long time and was so excited for the day to arrive! Jennie and I had emailed back and forth for months about lighting, vendors, color schemes, I felt like I could visualize their wedding before the day even arrived! It truly was a breathtaking day.
Jennie and Chad, I was honored to be with you on the most memorable day of your lives! Thank you for giving me a little peek into your life, your commitment to one another and your love. You have been a joy to work with over the months and I couldn’t ask for a better couple to work with! I hope your honeymoon in Mexico makes the chilly wind last night a distant memory. All my best! PS-Thanks again for the cupcakes, they were delicious!!

In addition to her wedding dress, Jennie had a departing dress for when she and Chad left for the evening. Love it!

A little dance party before the ceremony

Jennnie’s side of the family was from New Orleans and she incorporated a really fun New Orleans tradition into the reception called the 2nd line dance. I love it when people bring in fun traditions into their weddings to make it unique!

I just couldn’t resist posting this picture. I liked my name tag so much, I might just frame it.
