Kurt and Kirstin were the very first couple to hire me last year for their June 2011 wedding. There’s always a special place in my heart for the first couple to hire me for the upcoming wedding season. The second I met them, I liked them. They are calm, kind, and very intentional people. They even gave me a gift on their wedding day. I mean, only really nice people do that! I count myself very very lucky to call these two my clients. Every photographer should be so lucky to have such a wonderful couple to work with!
There was absolutely no worries about rain for their wedding yesterday! The forecast called for sunny skies and a 0% chance of rain. Hooray for great weather! To be honest, we could have used a few clouds yesterday, it was hot hot HOT! But I’ll take sunny hot weather over rainy weather any day! Kirstin and Kurt had a beautiful wedding at the Willow Ridge Manor in Morrison, CO. I really like the Willow Ridge Manor because it’s tucked back in the hills a little and it offers great views and has some beautiful landscape surrounding it. It really is a wonderful setting for a Colorado wedding! Kurt and Kirstin were absolutely wonderful to work with yesterday, so much fun! Kirstin teaches orchestra and had a few of her students come and play beautiful music for the ceremony. Everyone was blown away by how talented the musicians were, Kirstin is a great teacher!
Kurt and Kirstin, what an honor to spend the day with you! I hope by now it has finally sunk in that you’re married!Thank you for always being so kind and thoughtful and for being the best clients ever! I’m super jealous you get to go to Jamaica, but I hope you have an amazing honeymoon! I wish you guys years and years of laughter and love. Blessings!
