I love it when weddings also double as little mini-vacations- it’s the best of both worlds! Vanessa, of Flourish Studio Photography asked me to come along with her and shoot a wedding at the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. Wow, what a fun trip we had! The Mnt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is absolutely fantastic. Located just outside of Buena Vista at the base of Mnt. Princeton, it is a beautiful rustic resort with access to all sorts of fun hot springs and it really captures the essence of Colorado’s natural beauty. Between the two of us, we must have said “Oh my gosh, it’s so beautiful here” about 732 times in 24 hours. We headed down the day before the wedding to avoid waking up at 3am and driving down the morning of the wedding and I’m so thankful we did! Vanessa and I just couldn’t resist taking a dip, so the night before the wedding, we headed down to the river and soaked in some hot springs under a big starry sky (Yes, I know, it’s not fair that I have such a cool job, I’m aware of that.) 
The wedding day was delightful. The weather was fantastic (finally!) and the setting was beautiful as Ashley and Tim were surrounded by their friends and family to celebrate their wedding day. I’m so thankful to have been a part of such a great wedding. Much thanks to Vanessa for inviting me on this mini-vacation with her! A sample of my favorites from the day….
