When I first started my business, all I really wanted to do was take pretty pictures of weddings in the mountains. And for the most part, that’s exactly what I do, with the exception of a few gorgeous front range weddings here and there. I always thought that if I could ever manage to photograph a wedding at the Maroon Bells in Aspen, well then, I had “made it”. It had always been a goal of mine to shoot at one of the most picturesque locations in Colorado. So when Michelle emailed me last year about her upcoming wedding at the Maroon Bells, I pretty much threw a party for myself to celebrate.
As you can imagine, a wedding at the Maroon Bells is about as pretty a thing as you’ll ever see. It was absolutely stunning! Paul told me he thought this location was a “photographer’s dream.” Yep, pretty much! I could have spent all day here taking pictures of these two. The ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful, their familes were warm and welcoming, skies were blue and the mountains were majestic. What a perfect setting for a wedding!
Michelle and Paul, thank you so much for allowing my dream of photographing a wedding at the Maroon Bells come true! I had a wonderful day with you guys and I can’t wait to show you all the images! I hope you’re loving Antigua! Blessings!
A few favorites…
Michelle and Paul wanted to a “Behind the Door” which is pretty much the cutest thing ever. They each stood on one side of the door, and they were able to talk, hold hands and laugh together, all without seeing each other. C.U.T.E.!!!
I’m pretty much obsessed with this shot David took
There was a pretty epic cake smashing session after dinner…:-)
