I will never forget the day that I met Morgan and Mic for the first time. Mostly because it was one of the most embarrassing moments I’ve ever had in my life. We had just picked up our coffee and we were about to sit down at our table. I don’t know what happened, but my chair got knocked over and I went to sit in a chair that wasn’t there any more. The next thing I know… I’m lying on the floor staring at the ceiling… feet straight up in the air…people are staring…people are laughing… and Mic offered his hand in helping me up. What a great way to make a first impression on potential clients! I came home and told my husband that if by some miracle they hired me, I’d know it certainly wasn’t for my smooth moves. By the grace of God, they were able to overlook my blunder and I got the privilege of documenting their wedding day. And ohhhhh how thankful I am that they made that decision!
Morgan and Mic remind me alot of myself and David…our love stories have some parallels. We both met at college through campus ministries, we both got married young and spend a good portion of our engagements separated while living in different cities/states and we all love Jesus.
It was an absolute pleasure getting to spend the day with Morgan and Mic yesterday for their Lower Lake Ranch wedding in Pine, CO. Everyone was calm and relaxed, the weather was cool, the scenery was breathtaking and you could absolutely sense God smiling down on this beautiful couple. I loved their reception, it was such a blast! From the gorgeous patio to the lawn games to the hilarious Top Gun serenades, the whole thing was a lot of fun!
Morgan and Mic, first of all, thank you for being graceful enough to look past the ridiculous first impression I made on you.
I’m so glad that I was able to spend the day with you and witness your beautiful love story. I am so grateful to have gotten to know you and your families, what a wonderful and loving group of people that surround you! I pray that the years to come are full of joy and blessings, day after day!
