Emily, Paul and I have been trying for quite some time to get an engagement session scheduled when it wasn’t raining or snowing! We decided to head up to Kenosha Pass, just west of Denver for our shoot. Since the pass tops out at 10,000 feet, we knew crazy weather could definitely be a part of our day. And we were right! As soon as Paul and Emily showed up and we started their engagement session, it began to snow/hail. It looked like hail, but it was soft like snow, crazy! True to Colorado, the crazy weather only lasted for about 5 minutes before the sun was back out and the sun was shining again. Phew!
Emily and Paul really enjoy the outdoors, hiking, hunting and loving Colorado! I love getting a glimpse into my client’s lives during engagement sessions and I really got a great peek into the love Emily and Paul share. I could immediately sense their deep connection and commitment. It’s an amazing thing to witness!
I’m so so so excited for their wedding this August at a ranch just outside of Loveland, CO. They’re planning a wonderful diy affair and I can’t wait to go and see all their hard work pay off! Thanks for spending your afternoon with me Emily and Paul, I had a great time!
Yogi and Rush joined us for a couple pictures!
