It would come as no surprise to me if I had reoccurring dreams of Erik and Theresa’s wedding years from now. The cupcakes. The blue skies and puffy clouds. The warms sunshine. The beautiful lakehouse. The love. The happiness.
You see, I attend a lot of weddings. And of those weddings, at least 90% of them are stressful in some way for me at some point in the day. Either people are late to family formals or no one can find the flowers or the bride is upset about something not going as planned. Something happens, it’s just the nature of weddings, they’re unpredictable and crazy! But Erik and Theresa’s wedding was about as close to stress-free perfection as you can get (minus a tiny little grease stain on Theresa’s dress that she quickly dismissed with a smile). =-)
The day was calm, relaxed, fun and joyful. Erik and Theresa said their vows amongst family and friends and spent the rest of their day laughing, smiling, holding hands and enjoying their wedding day without a care in the world. Their joy was like wildfire. Once people saw what fun they were having, it spread. Laughs got louder and smiles got wider. It was absolutely wonderful.
Erik and Theresa, I am so grateful to have been a part of your wedding day! Your joyful and down to earth attitudes were felt by everyone throughout the whole day, including myself. It was a true pleasure to spend the day with you and document the fun that you had. I hope that your lighthearted spirits continue through your marriage and bring you years of laughter and joy.
Some favorites…

There were SIX different flavors of cupcakes to chose from! And since they had a few extra leftover at the end of the night, you know who got to take a dozen home with her! =-)
