When I first stepped onto the grounds at the Dunafon Castle, I was like “whoa, where am I? 16th century England or something?” And then I saw a squirrel climb a pine tree and I was like “Nope. Looks like I’m still in Colorado. Phew!” Seriously, this castle transports you back in time, it’s incredible! Even though it was built in the 20th century, it feels like it was imported from the Renaissance era. The grounds are lovely, full of huge trees, dramatic lighting, bridges, streams and flowers. Lovely!
Anne and Brandon had a beautiful wedding that complemented the Renaissance feel of the castle. I loved all the touches they added that helped make their big day truly unique to them! And I really loved seeing a few of my favorite past clients! It’s always so fun to see friends at weddings! Despite a minor rain delay (um hi, it’s October, we really should be the rainy weather by now!), the wedding ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful!
Anne and Brandon, I’m so glad I was able to be a part of your wonderful wedding day! It was an honor to spend the day with you and your families. Thank you so much for inviting me to document such an important day! I wish you both all the blessings in the world!
