Sometimes I get spoiled and I take for granted the fact that I have amazing ski resorts within just a few hours of my house. I can go there and ski anytime I want to (and I frequently do!)! People like Liz and Chris make me realize how lucky I am! Even though they don’t live in Colorado, this beautiful state (and it’s many wondering ski resorts) has a hold on them just like it does on me. They’ve been coming out to Colorado every year to ski since they were little. Liz’s family has a home in Breckenridge, so she and Chris get to escape to the slopes every year for a while. What fun!
Liz and Chris decided to tack on a destination engagement session in Breckenridge to their itinerary while they were out in Colorado this year. I LOVE when out of state couples hire me for their engagement sessions in Colorado, it is so much fun!! We get to take an afternoon and explore the mountains together, which is pretty much my ideal day! We met at Liz’s house and then headed into town before trecking through some snow and mud towards the end of our shoot. We had amazing weather, clear blue Colorado skies…perfect for an engagement session in the mountains!
Liz and Chris, thanks for hanging out in Breckenridge with me yesterday! I had a wonderful time getting to know you guys and I am honored to have been able to capture this special times in your lives! I wish you all the best with wedding planning and upcoming marriage!
