On at least a bi-weekly basis, Lauren would catch me sitting in class, editing wedding pictures when I was supposed to be paying attention to the lecture. We shared several classes together in grad school, but had more fun talking about weddings than current theories on counseling (what we were studying at the time). Lauren would pull up the Red Cliffs Lodge’s website and we’d oooo and aaaahhh over how beautiful it was and how sweet it would be if she got married there one day and I got to photograph it.
Well that day happened. I joined Lauren, Jeff, their friends and family in Moab, Utah this weekend for a wonderful celebration of their love. Talk about an incredible backdrop for a wedding! The Red Cliffs Lodge sits on the Colorado River with beautiful cliffs and mesas all around. It truely is a picture perfect place to get married!
Lauren and Jeff, I had such a wonderful time with you on your wedding day! I am so happy the Lord has brought you two together and that I was able to help preserve your memories of your wedding day. My favorite memory of your wedding day was when we all went out to the dock on the river and everyone tried really hard to not make the dock tip over! I hope you guys have a blessed marriage and a wonderful time in Oregon on your honeymoon!
A few of my favorites…
