The humidity was thick. Small waves were lapping on the shoreline. A few kids were fishing for crawdads and tadpoles. Clouds in the sky hung low, swirling above our heads. Crickets and locusts were humming in the background. Sparks from the bonfire jumped up the air, illuminating the faces of those sitting around it. Somewhere off in the distance, a group of people erupted in laughter. As I walked in the cool sand I thought to myself, “Now this is my kind of wedding.”
Although there were about 200 people in attendance, Amy and Jeremy’s wedding felt small, intimate and cozy. It was a laid back affair, full of friends, family, laughter, yummy wedding cake, and a beautiful Colorado setting. I simply couldn’t ask for a better wedding or a better couple to photograph.
Amy and Jeremy, I’m so glad I was able to join you on your wedding day. Thank you for trusting me with documenting one of the most important days of your lives. You both made me feel right at home! I wish you many years full of love, laughter, and a little fishing every now and then.

This is Norm. I took approximately 1,781 pictures of him.

Amy and Jeremy did a First Look, which was great because it gave us almost a full hour to do pictures. This was the moment they saw each other.
