In college, I lived with one of my best friends, Jen. My husband lived with one of his best friends, Noah. David and I had been dating for a while, and then Jen and Noah started dating. Several years later, Jen and Noah got married and a few months after that, David and I got married. Long story short, these guys are wonderful friends, amazing people and super fun camping/traveling buddies.
Noah’s little sister, Serena, is getting married next summer. She’s smart, beautiful and pretty darn funny too. She met Cody a few years back, and from what I can tell, they are absolutely perfect for each other. I loved capturing their little inside jokes, whispers and smiles!
Cody and Serena flew all the way from Minnesota to Colorado this weekend for their engagement pictures and to hang out with Jen and Noah. I was praying for good weather and that maybe, just maybe, my wind curse would let up. And it did! We had the most beautiful day, it was about 60 degrees, a tiny breeze and clear, sunny skies! Hopefully my bad weather curse has left me for good!
Serena and Cody, thank you so much for coming all the way out to Colorado and allowing me the opportunity of photographing your engagement session, you were such a joy to work with! Oh, and I owe someone $20 the next time I see you! And thanks Noah and Jen for being our wonderful chauffeurs!
