“Becky could drive 1,000 miles for a good cupcake.” I heard my mother in-law say these words as we were driving to a cupcake store in CA. And it’s so very true. Well, partially.
You see, that 1,000 miles doesn’t take into account the drive home. But, I would even drive 2,000 (or 2,271 miles to be exact) for a good cupcake. Come on, tell me you wouldn’t do the same for this beautiful iced confection….

On a side note, I don’t recommend that you attempt to drive over Vail pass on the busiest travel day of the year….especially if it is snowing.
See the part where it says Denver is a mere 2.5 hours away? Well, that was a lie. It should have said 6 hours. Yes, that rights. It took 6 hours to go from Frisco to the Eisenhower Tunnel, which is about 5 miles for those of you unfamiliar with I-70. But Becky, that means you were traveling less than 1mph! How ever did you survive such a terrible thing?? Lots of Diet Coke and Little Debbie snack cakes, thanks to my mother in-law.
Well, at least it was a nice lesson in patience and I got to hang out with my husband as he drifted in and out of sleep…don’t worry, he wasn’t driving. =)
